Bamboo-Forest

You may have never guessed it’s Bamboo!  There are many reasons to love Bamboo.  It is one of the most eco-friendly plants on earth and is a renewable and sustainable resource because it grows very quickly. Bamboo can be turned into a natural textile by processing the pulp of bamboo grass.

When Bamboo is turned into ecofriendly fabric it becomes softer than the softest cotton making it an ideal choice for Bellylaf’s line of products.  Bamboo is 100% biodegradable, does not require fertilizers or pesticides to grow and has natural antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties.  Find out for yourself how wonderful Bamboo feels to the skin. Try our Grippees™ or MiniMitts™ washmitts today!

Say Goodbye To Those Dirty Old Washcloths!

June 23, 2009 by Chris

Brookie

Wash cloths and wash mitts have numerous problems ranging from massive shrinkage to outdated designs to “durable” fabrics (sandpaper?). Square washcloths are problematic because they roll and gather in your hands while most wash mitts are designed as puppets instead of as practical washing aids. A giant duck bill sticking out on the front of a wash cloth is not exactly practical when it comes to cleaning between small little toes and in sensitive areas.

Whale-2-580

My name is Echo! If you can’t find me, just look below the surface of the water. I have a whale of a good time diving down deep into the ocean. That’s where I compose my tunes. I sing long songs and short songs and they bounce like waves to all my friends. When I sing, all of the sea creatures, especially Cosmo, dance along to my happy tunes. Do you like to sing and dance?

Laughter is a mechanism everyone has; laughter is part of universal human vocabulary. There are thousands of languages, hundreds of thousands of dialects, but everyone speaks laughter in pretty much the same way. Everyone can laugh. Babies have the ability to laugh before they ever speak. Children who are born blind and deaf still retain the ability to laugh.

Fish-Minis-Blue-580

BellyLaf’s designers have created a number of modern, playful characters on our wash mitts that kids love. Zippo, our round blowfish design, is not only cute and colorful but was developed with learning in mind. Zippo is composed of several shapes including circles, triangles and trapezoids. Young children are naturally drawn to bold geometric shapes and recognition of basic shapes and patterns is essential to early childhood development…which makes Zippo the “Catch of the Day.”  Ages 2-5.
